Scoops are used in tea ceremonies to retrieve tea leaves from a bag or storage jar, present them to guests, and transfer them into a teapot. This ceramic handmade scoop is glazed on the inside, making it easy for leaves to slide down into the teapot. The outside is left unglazed for a pleasant texture.
We offer three sizes, each defined by the depth of the inner bend and, consequently, the scoop's capacity.
L - for bigger groups and gatherings, as it can hold quite some tea leaves.
