Peach Bloom Woodfired Set
Peach Bloom Woodfired Set
This one-of-a-kind set includes three pieces: a flower-shaped teapot holder, a flower-shaped jian shui, and a petal-shaped scoop. Each piece is both functional and visually striking, adding a natural elegance to the tea table. Their forms echo the early spring bloom — a season of renewal and quiet joy.
The name also refers to the renowned Peach Bloom glazes, celebrated for their delicate tones and subtle beauty. Historically, these glazes were used during China’s Qing dynasty to create objects for the emperor’s table.
Unlike traditional Peach Bloom pieces, this set is unglazed. Its soft markings and nuanced play of color are the result of the unpredictable nature of woodfiring. The fire, ash, and flames leave their signature, making each piece unique.
Only one set was made, shaped and fired as part of a single kiln process.
