Handmade ceramic scoop featuring a representation of the most well-known symbol among tea people - the Chinese character for tea 茶. Presented in an artistic manner, it is based on a painting by Taiwanese tea teacher Huang Chuan Fang. This depiction captures the essence of humanity in tune with Nature. The “person,” shown as male and female both, isn’t just climbing the tree to pick leaves, he/she is living within the tree itself.
This same symbol was embroidered on a special chabu for Global Tea Hut as a special limited edition of Care for teaware - Tea Medicine Chabu.
The scoop is covered with a smooth white glaze inside and outside, providing a pleasant texture to the touch. Quite large, for big group sessions. There are two glaze options available: one with crackles and the other with a clean, pure transparent glaze.
