Scoops are used in tea ceremonies to retrieve tea leaves from a bag or storage jar, present them to guests, and transfer them into a teapot. This ceramic handmade scoop is glazed on the inside, making it easy for leaves to slide down into the teapot. The outside is left unglazed for a pleasant texture. We offer two sizes, each defined by the depth of the inner bend and, consequently, the scoop's capacity.
L - for bigger groups and gatherings, as it can hold quite some tea leaves.

The marble effect was created by swirling together a few colors of clay. Each piece bears the imprint of human hands, yet the results are always unexpected and uncontrollable. No two pieces in this collection are alike, and none can be replicated exactly.
