Vlastimil Hanuš is a woodworker and instrument maker based in Czechia. He has been crafting artisanal tea utensils since 2018. Using locally sourced wood, he creates functional objects shaped entirely with hand tools. Instead of sanding, he relies on the clean cut of exceptionally sharp chisels and planes, preserving the integrity of the wood fibers. The result is a surface of remarkable softness, silky to the touch.
