The name refers to the Peach Bloom glazes, celebrated for their delicate tones and subtle beauty. Historically, these glazes were used during China’s Qing dynasty to create objects for the emperor’s table.
Unlike traditional Peach Bloom pieces, this scoop is unglazed. Its soft markings and nuanced play of color are the result of the unpredictable nature of woodfiring. The fire, ash, and flames leave their signature, making each piece unique.
