Yūgen Bowls
Stoneware bowls are glazed with grey glaze with inclusions of gold, creating magical and unique mark on each bowl. Its outer surface is a fusion of dark, earthy tones, reminiscent of weathered stone, with patches of iridescent gold that seem to emerge from within. The interplay between rough and glowing glazes gives it an organic, almost cosmic feeling, as if shaped by time and elements rather than by human hands. Subtle hints of deep blue and green flicker at the edges, highlighting the unpredictability of fire and minerals fusing together in the kiln. It’s a bowl that doesn’t demand attention but rewards those who take a moment to truly see it.
