Set of 6 beautiful bowls handmade by one of our favorite tea potters of the Czech Republic Petr Novak @potsandtea.
This series emerged unexpectedly, through a shift in glaze chemistry. The familiar matte grey of the Yūgen collection changed character — as if exposed to long heat, wind, and desert sands. The surface remains grey at its core, but is overlaid with warm, yellow-brown tones, like fine sand carried and settled by time. The texture feels weathered, dry, almost archaeological.
6 stoneware bowls are glazed with yellow-grey glaze with inclusions of gold, creating magical and unique mark on each bowl. Each one is unique as they are handmade.
