Both silks are light, supple, and naturally fluid. The runner rests completely flat across wood, stone, or tatami, framing your chawan, teapot or bowls.
Side A, Festive Royal Violet: Made from a rich, deep violet textured silk, this side features an intricate traditional motif of opened fans, blooming peonies, plum blossoms. The deep tone creates a dramatic, elegant, festive stage.
Side B, Tea Leaves: Sourced from a second vintage kimono, this contrasting side is crafted from a pale sage-green silk with an embossed higaki with floating green tea leaves drifting through the air. Soft, airy, and serene, this side brings an organic, springtime freshness.
